Sometimes it’s less about bad habits, and more that we would desperately like to introduce good habits into our lives. Maybe you really struggle to maintain a consistent exercise routine… Or perhaps you would really like to improve and maximise your sporting performance… Maybe you would like to be able overcome a resistance towards studying… Perhaps you have trouble ‘switching off’ and would like to be able to get to sleep easier or sleep more consistently through the night. When we try consciously to make or break habits the effort can feel like very hard work, and often yields very little results, this is because the mind resists what we consciously try to change. However, when we change our thinking at a subconscious level, the changes that we experience can be profound. This is why Hypnotherapy is fast becoming one of the most popular forms of therapy available.

The process of hypnotherapy involves being eased into an incredibly relaxed state so that your conscious thinking can be bypassed, and your subconscious mind can be accessed. While you are in this relaxed state, suggestions are made regarding changes that you would like to experience in your life.
Hypnotherapy is not mind control, it is simply working with the client in a focused state of attention to achieve the things that you really want.
When the subconscious is able to take on these new concepts and ideas, you will see changes in your thinking and behaviour that seem to occur naturally and without great effort. The hypnotic state experienced in hypnotherapy feels a lot like guided meditation. It is an incredibly pleasant experience and is nothing like stage hypnosis.
It is applicable to such a wide range of issues and it’s real beauty is in it’s effectiveness in such a short amount of sessions. Every person is different, and every issue is different, but with hypnotherapy it is possible to facilitate change in one session, or in a few sessions for most clients.

•You can work with me via Zoom so that you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home. No clinic visits, no parking and no waiting in consulting rooms.
•You will receive Hypnosis recordings to support the work we do in session. Not all hypnotherapists will provide this, but I believe is very beneficial for the client as it reinforces the changes.
